The inauguration of the new college of the Ukrainian Catholic University took place in Lviv today. This is the first building of the University complex which also includes lecture rooms, library and information and resource center, a conference hall, chapel and pastor’s center. The UCU’s campus construction is the largest project across the whole of Eastern Europe

The Olympic golden medal went to a graduate of Lviv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum Igor Cherniuh. Siler medals were awarded to Irina Zaporozhets of Balakleya School #1 (Kharkiv region) and Dmitry Shibanov of Sevastopol specialized school #57 while Andrey Stelmakh, a 10-grader of Lviv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum, holds a bronze medal
