Chairman of the Board of Azot Mr. Skliarov, Head of the Board of Directorsof Group DF Mr. Firtash, Metropolitan Sofronii of Cherkassy and Kanev and Mrs. Zhukovska open the Culture Palace

  • The city’s and region’s main cultural facility – the Culture Palace “Peoples Friendship” – reopened in Cherkassy after the reconstruction
  • The reopening of the reconstructed Culture Palace was organized on occasion of the 50th anniversary of “Azot” breaking ground
  • The ultramodern dynamically lit fountain was installed instead of the old one
  • The square adjacent to the Culture Palace (over 14 thousand sq. meters)underwent major reconstruction
  • The funding to the project was provided by Cherkassy’s principal employer – “Azot” plant owned by Mr. Firtash
  • The reopening of the reconstructed Culture Palace was organized on occasion of the 50th anniversary of “Azot” breaking ground
  • The concert show from the Palace was telecast for thousands of citizens gathering in the square
