Statement of the Chairman of the Group DF Supervisory Council Dmitry Firtash

I support the idea of nominating a single candidate for President from the democratic political forces. Vitaly Klitschko’s decision to support Petr Poroshenko on the presidential elections could be an example for other politicians. In the current realities it is important to quickly stabilize the economic and social situation in the country.

This can be done if the political forces unite their efforts and ensure the legitimacy of the presidential elections.

I encourage politicians who will take part in the presidential elections not only to declare intentions, but also to make a choice between personal ambitions and need to stabilize the situation in Ukraine. The reform package uniting all politicians and society is a necessary condition for the early situation stabilization in the country.

The economic and social development of the state will be possible only under such conditions.
