OSTCHEM To Invest UAH 1.5 Billion In Chemicals Producers

In 2013, OSTCHEM holding will invest UAH 1.5 billion in its nitrogen chemicals producers. This was announced by Dmitry Firtash, Chairman of Group DF Supervisory Council, during a briefing at “Rivneazot” as part of the Chemists Union of Ukraine conference.
 
Dmitry Firtash noted that UAH 264 million would be spent on implementation of investment projects, UAH 669.6 million on capital repairs, and UAH 541.6 million on modernization.
 
“We are carrying out our investment plan in full. Additional investments – some UAH 256 million – have been spent on production stability and safety improvements, as well as labour conditions improvements,” added Dmitry Firtash.Chairman of Group DF Supervisory Council also noted that of the UAH 3 billion invested in chemical assets for the past three years, more than 30 percent account for investments in safety.
 
Investment plans for 2014 are related to both modernizing the existing production capacities, and developing new productions.
